What's Involved?
Prior to any treatment, your Bosley physician will discuss your hair loss with you and perform a thorough examination of your thinning areas to determine your actual baldness classification. Based upon this examination, he will determine your candidacy for a hair transplant and recommend a hair restoration plan that is tailored to your needs.
How Long Does It Take?
The amount of time spent with the doctor varies depending on how many questions you have. Generally your visit with the doctor lasts about 20 minutes.

What's Involved?
At Bosley, the surgical transplantation of hair follicles is a relatively simple outpatient procedure. During the hair transplant procedure your doctor will choose a suitable segment from your “donor” area (back and/or side of the head), and an appropriate variety of follicular units. Far more complex are the artistic demands that hair transplantation places on the physician. Each graft will be placed individually, at the correct angle and direction to mirror your natural hair growth.

What's Involved?
Once your hair transplant procedure is complete, you simply go home and rest for the evening. Most patients can resume normal activities immediately with the exception of strenuous exercise, which should be avoided for two weeks. You can wash your hair after 48 hours using a special method that we teach you.
How Long Does It Take?
Most patients return to work after 1-2 days. The tiny crusts visible on the scalp following surgery disappear completely in 7-10 days.
How Much Does It Cost?
There is never any charge for your post operative visits to a Bosley surgical office. We offer to shampoo your hair and check graft placement the following day. If you choose, you can also return to our surgical office and have your sutures removed at no additional charge.
