Hair Restoration Options
While surgical hair transplantation is the only permanent and the most significant solution to hair loss,
these other solutions can help in your fight against hair loss.
Surgical hair transplantation
Surgical hair transplantion involves transplanting hairs and follicles from one area of the head to another. Most causes of hair loss
may be traced to the hormone DHT. In hair transplantation, DHT-resistant follicles are removed from the scalp and artfully placed in thinning areas on the top and front of the head. Our patients find there are many benefits of hair transplantation
over other treatment options. You may also wish to see the steps involved in a Bosley hair replacement procedure.

The Bosley LaserComb®
The Bosley LaserComb is the only FDA-approved medical device that emits controlled laser energy
to stimulate hair follicles and promote re-growth. It is an ideal treatment for individuals
with very early-stage hair loss where hair restoration surgery is not indicated. Although it
is not intended to treat advanced hair loss, the Bosley LaserComb may be used either on
pre-operative and/or post-operative patients to improve the results of hair
restoration surgery. You can purchase the Bosley LaserComb online from

Hairpieces and Toupees
A hairpiece can provide an instant cosmetic fix to hair loss, but it does come with compromises. The cost varies according to type and quality, and the price of a high-quality hair system and maintenance may often be greater over time than both surgical and non-surgical options. The sudden transition in appearance from thinning hair to a full head of hair may draw more attention than you might like. There is also the persistent potential of embarrassing slips or a hairpiece falling off. Some wearers don’t like the feel of a hairpiece and do not consider it a natural or comfortable option. While hairpieces are available in an extensive range of colors, hair types, and styles, they are often the least natural looking option for hair restoration.
