Bosley Breast Cancer Awareness Month 2017

Bosley employees are about to begin their fifth year in support of the Breast Cancer Research Foundation (BCRF) annual fundraiser. Last year, employees exceeded all expectations with a $27,263 cash donation to the BCRF, which brings the four-year fundraising total of more than $100,000.

This successful campaign was supported by all of Bosley’s 450 personnel across its 70 offices nationwide. Not only are employees working to raise awareness, but they’re also helping to advance world research on prevention, detection, and a cure – and management is in full support of the effort.

“Bosley would like to thank the entire team for their efforts in meeting our goal and donating $27,263 to Breast Cancer Research Foundation, in support of breast cancer research and awareness,” said Rob Spurrell, Bosley President and CEO.

Why so much support from one company? When you think about what’s going on at Bosley, it makes complete sense in two big ways.

First, we are dedicated to the advancement of our art – to help our patients restore their self-confidence and self-image. We work for the benefit of our patients, to help them restore their hair and transform their lives.

Second, many of our patients are women, and 74% of Bosley staff is comprised of women.

“We have all in some way or another been impacted by this horrific disease,” said Spurrell. “As a company with a majority female employment base and a mission rooted in improving lives for our patients, we want to make sure to give back to the communities where we live and support a charity that is meaningful to our employees. We are proud to support the BCRF once again.”

I think it was incredibly touching for all of us to see the many photos of the displays and decorations that were sent in by offices from around the country.
