Dee had been struggling with hair loss for almost 20 years before he finally decided it was time for him to do something about it. “I was shopping at a convenience store and there was a mirror right behind the cash register. I thought there was a lightbulb behind me, and I turned around and there was no lightbulb. I looked again and I realized it was actually my head. I didn’t think I should be losing my hair that bad that early – I thought I had a full head of hair back then.”
Dee decided to get a Bosley hair transplant during the pandemic when he wouldn’t see anyone for a while… but he wasn’t shy about telling people about his experience. “My friends and my family, even acquaintances know about it. Now I get compliments that I look younger, I look different, there was something different about me and they couldn’t figure it out. I just tell them, hey, I got my hair done. And it gave me a lot more confidence. […] I should have done it 20 years ago!”
