How an FUE + FUT Hair Transplant Works

First, the FUT method: Your physician will remove follicular unit grafts via a thin strip of tissue from the patient’s donor area of the scalp (usually the back of the head.)

Then, the FUE method: Your physician will remove follicular unit grafts individually, both above and below the FUT strip.

Step 3:

Then, follicular unit grafts are transplanted individually. Each follicular graft is artistically placed, one by one, in the recipient or thinning areas using Bosley’s signature VariGraft™ technique.
