Dr. Angie Phipps is caring, enthusiastic, and passionate about assisting both men and women with their hair loss situations. As a child, she saw her father struggle with hair loss and was inspired to pursue her lifelong mission of helping others. In fact, her father was her very first hair transplant patient. Dr. Phipps loves to help people restore their hair and their confidence, no matter how challenging the case may be. Dr. Phipps is currently featured in the TLC network show “Bad Hair Day”, where she works her magic to help patients with a wide variety of hair loss ailments.
Dr. Phipps, D.O. received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Marshall University, Huntington, WV in 1994 followed by her D.O. from the West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine in 2000.
She completed her ENT/Facial Plastic Surgery internship/residency at Botsford General Hospital, Farmington Hills, MI in 2002, followed by a Family Medicine residency at Suncoast Hospital in Largo, FL through 2004, and then a fellowship in hair restoration surgery at Ziering Medical, Beverly Hills, CA in 2005.
Dr. Phipps joined Bosley in 2009 after 3 years of hair restoration practice in Beverly Hills, CA, and Las Vegas, NV.
Dr. Phipps is a diplomate of the American Board of Hair Restoration Surgery (ABHRS), a member of the American Osteopathic Association, and a member of the International Society of Hair Restoration Surgery (ISHRS).
