The receptionist was outgoing. Even enthusiastic. I was surprised to be greeted by Sales representative, Nina, who I had met in August. She was very friendly, and welcomed me heartily. Doctor Tan was very low key to begin with, but explained his assessment and diagnosis clearly. He also explained medication and other options carefully. He clearly ruled out four diagnostic possibilities, and explained his diagnosis and how that led to his treatment plan. Most importantly, he responded to my questions patiently and openly, and was more open, more friendly, and seemed to be enjoying our appointment towards the end. We even laughed a bit. Then I had an appointment with Nina, who explained next steps and more information about how the laser cap and red cap differed. She also explained PRP. Overall this was a positive experience. Unfortunately they could not provide references to human outcomes research to support their claims of efficacy. Nor could thier CEO, an M.D.
