Absolutely great experience from day 1...my wife and I really liked that everyone explained everything that they specifically were doing...Doctor was great - his credentials were terrific, but when I met him, he sold me, as he seems to be a great guy, but I don't want to forget to mention Patrick, as if it wasn't for his detail and professionalism of presenting the different options, I would have never moved forward...thanks

I can't say enough good things about the staff and Dr. Rodillo at Bosley Medical in Maitland. They are kind, supportive, caring and professional. Being a woman, and going through such a traumatic experience, I thought all hope was lost. Dr. Rodillo and his staff gave me hope again and restored my confidence that I can feel good about myself again. I just had my procedure yesterday so I can't expand on the results, but Dr. Rodillo was very realistic about what I should expect and I will follow up with my results.

I had a procedure in September of last year with Dr. Rodillo after reading positive reviews and reading about his extensive experience. Decided on the FUT (strip) method going for the highest quality and quantity of hairs. Was shooting for 2600 grafts and we ended up with about 2200, for both my crown area and for my frontal area. I bled a lot during the procedure, which didn't matter much to me, although I possibly could have prevented it by stopping taking supplements that thin my blood such as omega-3 fish oil several days before the procedure, which I didn't know to do. Experienced some pain, although the team was right there with numbing shots any time I asked for them. The surgical team was very friendly and accommodating. After the procedure I was dizzy and a little nauseous and they stayed with me after hours till I felt OK to drive and offered me food, drinks, etc. Dr. Rodillo called after I got to the nearby hotel to make sure that I made it there OK and was doing OK, which was very kind of him. I typically style my hair in a way where I spike it in the front, and after the procedure I had to style my hair differently for several months till I could spike it again without my "baby hairs" in the front being prominent. If you get the strip (FUT) procedure done, I suggest planning for at least 1 week if not 2 weeks off work following the procedure for recovery. The post-op instructions were a little confusing in that I didn't know whether to remove the suture (stitches) 2 weeks after or 3 weeks after, although I called Bosley and they clarified. I couldn't lift weights for at least 3 weeks after the procedure, although that wasn't a big deal in the grand scheme of things. It is currently about 11 months after the procedure, and I am generally happy with the results. In pictures (once my hair is styled) I no longer look like a guy who is "balding", rather one whose hair is only thinning in the front, which has greatly helped with my confidence. And I understand there is still potential for my implanted hairs to improve for up to 7 more months. On the scarring, I used to be able to cut my hair in the back with a 4-guard and hoped that I would still be able to after the surgery, although now I have to use a 7-guard to conceal the scar completely, although that's not a big deal. I'll likely get a second procedure in a year or two to thicken up the front more and conceal the scar more, once I save up the money. Everyone's "donor hair" is different, although I truly believe Bosley did the best that they could with the hair that they had to work with. The donor hair that I have is literally only 1/8th as good as some people's. At my recent follow-up consultation they were a little pushy about maintenance products like finasteride, minoxidil, laser therapy, etc. although I am sure they had good intentions, and only wanted to help me preserve what I have. My background is engineering, so I have already researched those options, their effects on DHT and 5-alpha reductase, and their potential side effects, as well as studies on non-prescription DHT blockers and 5-AR inhibitors like saw palmetto, beta sitosterol, astaxanthin, ketocozanole, etc. Maintenance of existing hair and prevention of further hair loss is certainly important, and it is diligent of the care staff to make their recommendations. Dr. Rodillo is highly skilled as both a technician and an artist; and he is kind and funny too.

I wanted to take the time to write a review about my experience, I had a eyebrow transplant done due to losing all my hair from a permanent makeup experience. Dr.Rodillo and Dan (my counselor) both were VERY professional, caring and understanding and making sure I got what I wanted, Dr.Rodillo and his staff took extremely great care of me. They made sure I was very comfortable while the procedure was happening. As I was leaving Dr.Rodillo even walked me outside to be sure I was okay because he was concerned I was driving home afterwards because I lived an hour away. (I kept reassuring him I was okay) When I was on the road about to be home he called me to make sure I was okay and made it home safely. The way he cared so much about everything really touched me, it was very very sweet of him!! His staff made me feel like I was home, It was very nice to spend the day with such a great group of people!! I would definitely recommend them to anyone whom has any hair loss issues!! :)

Obviously I was extremely pleased with my first restoration three years ago and decided to add volume after consulting with Dr. Leavitt, Bosely’s Medical Director, ORLANDO who performed the initial procedure. My 2nd hair transplant procedure was performed by Dr. Rodillo and his surgical team at Bosley-ORLANDO. They exhibited high degree of professionalism during six hour procedure by constant communication ensuring my comfort that was no difference than the first time.
