Bosley – Hair Restoration & Transplant – Seattle

Approximately 5 years ago, I went to Bosley Hair Restoration in Seattle for an eyebrow transplant (I am female). I had over plucked my eyebrows as a teen, and was hoping to restore my eyebrows in order to minimize my maintenance of them, and to improve the look of them. Going to Bosley Hair was the worst decision of my life. I wish they would’ve explained a lot of things to me before hand, I wish they would have taken the time to make me aware of what it could potentially have looked like, what my post-eyebrow transplant experience would or could be. But no, they took my money and got me in and out of their clinic as soon as possible. I spent years after expressing how extremely displeased I am with the results, and they brushed me off, ignored me, they just didn’t care, they still don’t. It has been nothing but a nightmare since. One thing I learned from this procedure is that hair from your head should not go on your face, it’s thick, it’s wiry, and it grows very fast. Not only does it look horrible, ridiculous, and awful, it requires far more maintenance than I could have ever thought, and even then they look awful, ridiculous, flat out embarrassing. I have also spent years trying numerous types of eyebrow gels, waxes, pomades, and glues –and absolutely nothing controls these eyebrow hairs they transplanted from the back of my head. I am horrified to be out in public, I have become a recluse because of how my eyebrows look. If I venture outside, I will only do it with a hat and glasses, hiding behind them, even at night, I won’t remove them whatsoever, much to the confusion of my friends and family. They don’t understand why in the last 5 years I hide behind a hat and glasses, and rarely venture out anymore. My mental health is not what it used to be, I feel like a shell of myself, because I don’t even recognize myself anymore, and haven’t in so many years. I constantly just want to hide, I can’t handle anyone looking at my face even for a second, because I know all they see is the circus show of eyebrows I have going on my face. The little bit of eyebrows I originally had is no longer even there, it was all replaced by these horribly nappy, wiry, hairs that stick out in all directions. I can't control them at all, and they are too thick and sparse to look anything close to natural eyebrows. I stopped trying to date, and just want to be alone all the time, so that no one sees these eyebrows. I struggle to even look in the mirror, because that is all I see, that is the only thing I focus on, and I cry every time I do. Most days now, and since the eyebrow transplant, I look forward to death, because it is the only thing that will fix this horrible eyebrow transplant horror that was done to my face by Bosley Hair Restoration. I have contacted them several times about this in the last few years, only for them to dismiss me. No assistance or concern for what I am going through with what they did to my face. No suggestions on how to fix it, how they can help me at all, no attempt whatsoever, not even any concern shown. They have completely ruined my life. They made a complete mockery of my face, and they don’t care whatsoever. They are a horrible company, and I have to live with the awful mistake I made of going to them thinking they would really be able to restore my eyebrows. I wouldn’t wish this nightmare on anyone, and I have learned to deal with my mental break downs from this throughout the years, but not enough, I still feel completely defeated by this experience, and completely ruined to ever live a normal life again.
